The development of our Discovery Trail maps started with the base design of the cartography over the area of the Cotswolds concerned. What was created was a wonderful elegant old style map design with a beautiful balance of colours which jump and sing out from the page. 
 
While the discovery Trails were the principle motivation for their design we have a pair of gorgeous looking maps here. Therefore i have edited down the maps back to the base cartography, only leaving interesting information from the area, which will absorb you further as your eyes dance across the maps. 
 
The prints have been edited and fine tuned with a lot more detail.

I had many different examples of them printed on different papers and employing different printing methods to establish the best presentation for the maps as possible. 
​
I finally landed on a high quality lithographic printing method, using 240 gsm heavy matt white archival paper and am delighted with the results.
 
We keep stock of one size A2 (59.4cm x 42cm)
